Booster Gold, also known as the Golden Advocator, is a DC Comics character who first appeared in Booster Gold #1 (February 1986). Michael Jon Carter was a former college football star and security guard from 25th-century Gotham City.
Driven by a desire for fame and wealth, Carter stole futuristic technology from the museum where he worked, including a power suit, force field belt, and Legion Flight Ring. He then traveled back in time to the 20th century to reinvent himself as a superhero.
Booster Gold initially used his knowledge of future events to stage heroic acts, gaining celebrity status. Over time, he evolved from a glory-seeking opportunist into a genuine hero, working alongside teams like the Justice League International. The Pad Printed version of Booster Gold has appeared in LEGO sets, adding to his recognition beyond the comics.
